Stokvis Promi Czech is a leading independent supplier and manufacturer of self-adhesive materials in the Czech Republic. The company is part of Stokvis Tapes Group, which operates in more than 20 factories in the world, such as Holland, Belgium, Sweden, China, Great Britain, etc. Stokvis Promi Czech started from the original acquisition of Promi v.o.s. Company and has been operating on the Czech market since 1991.

 
The product portfolio of Stokvis Promi Czech includes a wide variety of adhesive materials: protective films, foams and their converted products (lamination, cutting, etc.). Stokvis provides solutions for sealing, shielding, bonding, insulating, masking, and packaging applications for production and other industrial processes. Apart from the Czech market Stokvis distributes its products to many countries, including overseas.
 

Organisational changes in Stokvis made them search for a solution to improve the warehouse organisation and provide better navigation for the warehouse operators to avoid multiple searches. The Company has integrated two operations into one location at the new facility in Dobroviz and obtain sufficient production, storage and administrative facilities for further development and growth. Stokvis Promi Czech operates in Dobroviz a new modern warehouse, where more than 5000 kinds of items of materials and finished products are stored.

The Customer was looking for a solution how better to organise the warehouse and get the maximum possible visibility of items and how to eliminate unnecessary work when looking for items in the warehouse. KODYS designed and delivered a unique solution by labelling warehouse locations using pre-printed multilevel labels from Inotec Barcode Security.

Each column of warehouse racks is identified with one label placed on the first level of the storage rack at a comfortable height for bar code reading. The label contains an appropriate number of bar codes, each identifying the level of the shelf. Different coloured bar codes are used to identify each location. The customer likes the bar codes placed ergonomically on the label – at an angle, making it easier to scan without accidental reading the adjacent bar code. As the labels are made from highly resistant polypropylene with permanent adhesive, they last a long time. Digital printing on the reverse of the labels offers excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, oils and UV radiation. The labels are also resistant to harsh treatment due to lamination.
