Product of BCS Polska - universal system for warehouse management, which facilitates the supervision of warehouse processes, from the moment of delivery of a logistic unit or product, through the whole time it is stored in a warehouse, until it is shipped.
bcsTiger has been designed as a platform that constitutes a basis for building a solution according to customer needs. Its main goal is to support warehouse operation through:
The bcsTiger is very flexible, which allows it to be used in a great range of company size and in various market sectors:
bcsTiger allows you to significantly reduce logistic costs as a result of putting in order and optimizing the operation of the warehouse.

Each warehouse operation is performed based on a record, entered into the system or automatically generated based on the status of objects and/or transfers of carriers or packages. After an operation is completed the system generates a warehouse document. All documents can be exported to other systems integrated with the bcsTiger .
Modes of performing warehouse operations:
In a situation when it is necessary (and possible) to report planned warehouse operations to the system beforehand, the system allows to enter an order for a specified type of warehouse operation. A warehouse operation is then automatically generated and performed in accordance with a proper order.
Receipt documents show from which supplier goods come and contain a list of goods with their amount. After verifying that the goods received match the order, the goods are placed in a warehouse at designated locations. The goods may be received as advised or unadvised delivery.
In the bcsTiger system, the following operations are defined: receipt of external delivery, return or delivery from the production (planned or ad-hoc).
In the bcsTiger system, the paths of performing operations of shipping goods from a warehouse outside and issuing goods to the production, both planned and immediate, are defined. Shipping documents show to what customer the goods should be send and contain a list of goods to be shipped along with the quantity of goods and logistic units. Before shipments of goods they must be prepared using picking operation. After completing shipment the system counts the actual quantity of goods issued for a specific operation.
Transfers indicates internal movements of goods within a warehouse, specifying a source and target location as well as which goods and in what quantity are to be moved.
Types of transfers operations: contextless transfer of a carrier, contextless transfer of packaging, replenishments (feeding collection locations) - functionality available in the Optimization module.
bcsTiger allows you to process a crossdocking operation. This operation combines receipt and shipment (without the storage) and indicates the relations between these operations.
The system allows to do a stocktake of goods and logistic units for a chosen range of locations. For the time of stocktaking, selected locations may be blocked, and thus inaccessible for other warehouse operations. Stocktaking may be planned by a controller or suggested as needed by warehouse workers, e.g. after noticing incorrectness in a carrier or location and blocking an object for processing.
bcsTiger ensures an automatic assignment of locations for carriers delivered into a warehouse. The assignment consists in finding such a location for a carrier that matches the requirements specified by a system user, including the measurements and weight of a carrier as well as the measurements and capacity of a location.
The system allows to perform warehouse operations taking into account a required strategy of assortment flow in accordance with the principles FIFO, LIFO, FEFO. It is possible to create other flow strategies or modify the existing ones as an additional modification of the system.
bcsTiger also allows to block specific objects (e.g. to do a stocktake) so that they are omitted when an operation is performed even if meet adopted strategy. It is possible to block articles (individual or batches), specific carriers, locations, production lines.
Flows of logistic units are traced at each stage of their processing in a warehouse in accordance with the GS1 standard. Reports available in the system allow to establish the source and flow of batches of goods in an internal logistic chain, visualization in the form of a origin tree (history) of carriers and batches of goods.
A user can define quality statuses and perform operations of changing these statuses for whole batches of goods, regardless of location of their individual parts. This allows to specify the range of operations that can be performed for a particular batch of goods. It is also possible to change the status of an object quality (immediately on a mobile terminal).
The system allows to automate the process of shipping/receiving returnable packaging together with shipped/received goods.
The basic source of data about a warehouse is analytical reports. As a standard, there are several dozens of reports available in the bcsTiger system for all the areas handled by the system (among others defined users, locations and assortments, batches of goods, warehouse inventory, warehouse operation, returnable packaging). It is also possible to generate individual reports at Customer’s request.
To facilitate the cooperation with contractors, bcsTiger also provides a Web interface, which allows contractors to: view warehouse inventory (aggregated, classically, analytically or by carriers), create orders, view own orders.
Depending on Customer needs bcsTiger can be equipped with additional modules extending the functionality of the system.
