The term “in-store” covers all processes taking place in a sales hall in sales networks – retail and wholesale. The aim of the systems for managing these processes is aiding the activities carried out by shop employees and making it easier for Customers to do the shopping.
We support the handling of in-store processes by means of a range of solutions enabling the increase in effectiveness of individual processes in retail and wholesale outlets. Our solutions operate based on mobile computers and automatic identification technologies. This enables access to information in real time, at any location of retail outlet. These solutions guarantee significant acceleration of carrying out processes and virtually eliminate errors (e.g. incorrect name or incorrect code of goods, ultimately reducing the number of defects).

The scale of in-store systems depends on the size of retail outlet and processes carried out there. In convenience store, sufficient solution is a bar code reader working with a cash register (POS) and price checking devices. In hypermarket networks, where the number of transactions in Points of Sale is higher, the benefits of implementing IT platform increase. A system aiding the operation of mobile terminals, used by both the staff in a sales hall and the managers, facilitates the increase in the effectiveness of a store (stocking up shelves, current prices) and helps to shorten logistic processes within the goods acceptance zone. The scope and functionality of solutions are always based on accurate analysis of customer requirements.
IT devices and systems designed for retail sector are only tools that aid the completion of certain processes. Usually, they do not operate independently, but in combination with such systems as: cash register systems, warehouse systems or other systems used for managing retail outlets. Our WMS solutions are characterized by flexibility – they can be adapted to the needs of Customer, and can work with mobile computers operating based on automatic identification technologies, such as bar codes or RFiD. Basic tasks performed by warehouse systems are typical logistic operations, such as receipt, issuance, or stocktaking. Apart from these functions, there are processes in certain branches that would be difficult to carry out effectively without warehouse system.

Our solutions have built-in, advanced reporting mechanisms, and enable effective storage and archiving of information about all tasks performed linked with specific logistic units. The data provided enables tracing the warehouse inventory in real time, and makes it easier for the managers to take decisions. Extended reports also enable tracing the origin of products in the entire production and logistic process.
WMS systems also offer advanced optimization methods, relating to both the use of warehouse space (optimization of storage of goods) and the performance of processes. An example of such support is optimization of routes during preparing deliveries, ABC analysis improving flows in a warehouse, controlling the flow of products according to the principle FIFO, LIFO or FEFO (First Expired First Out).
The WMS system can be used independently to manage warehouse processes, however in order to fully use its capabilities it must work with external systems used in an enterprise, e.g.:

Our system designed for field work management consists of server and mobile parts. The synchronization of data between field workers’ terminals and communication server is based on an optimized protocol, which works well with low bandwidth connections, such as GPRS. This protocol allows sales representatives to get access to current information about warehouse inventory, special offers etc.
The solution can support any number of variants of special offers and loyalty programs. It is possible to create any report on a mobile device based on the data entered into the system during workday.
